One of the region’s best-known television journalists with more than 30 years of local and national award-winning service to local viewers, Sarah Wallace is a member of NBC 4 New York’s investigative unit, the NBC 4 I-Team.  In addition to earning 19 Emmy Awards for journalistic excellence, Wallace has been recognized with the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, two Edward R. Murrow Awards and three Robert Greene Awards for Investigative Journalism from the Long Island Fair Media Council. 

In July, 2019, Wallace was the first tri-state television reporter to secure a one-on-one interview with Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos. The exclusive interview generated worldwide attention and was repeatedly cited by major broadcast networks, national print publications and international news outlets.

    Biography

    Professor Wallace joined the faculty of Cedarville University full-time as an Assistant Professor of Allied Health in 2024, having served in an adjunct faculty role since 2021. She remains in limited clinical practice as a physical therapist serving in the homecare setting with a primarily older population. Her clinical areas of specialty are geriatric, neurologic, general medical, and adults with developmental disabilities. Her current teaching roles include Physical Activity and Healthy Living, Nutrition, and Research Methods. Professor Wallace is a member of the APTA (American PT Association) and OPTA (Ohio PT Association).

      Wallace’s I-Team reports have generated action and results across the Tri-State area. Her 2017 investigation of Customs enforcement at Newark Liberty International Airport generated a congressional inquiry and led to the arrest and indictment of three Federal officers. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection also disbanded an elite passenger screening team following Wallace’s investigation.
