Career Summary
Bill Belichick was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1975 to 2023, finishing his career as the head coach of the New England Patriots. Over his forty-nine years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 474-298-1. During his career he was a head coach for twenty-nine seasons, first with the Cleveland Browns. He led the Browns for five seasons, compiling a record of 36-44-0. He was fired from the Browns on Wednesday, February 14, 1996.
