The brand traces its origin to its founder, Albert Malekan. Born in Iran, Albert was immersed in the world of fashion through his father’s boutique, where he cultivated an eye for design and developed his entrepreneurial spirit.

Upon arriving in the United States to study in Columbia University, Albert introduced women's wear to his brother’s store. The swift success of his foray into women's wear culminated in the founding of his eponymous brand.

Now 35 years strong, Albert's collection is a trove of everything from designer evening gowns, vacation-worthy dresses, and luxury women’s work wear.

Vintage 1990 Designer Alberto Makali Jacket

Vintage 1990’s, Designer Alberto Makali. Size 10. This design is Fuchsia, Black and White, flowers and animal look(no actual animals on print). The Couture Fabric of Jacket is 100% polyester and lined(beautiful). It has the crinkle look. Has 3 button closure. Looks great with skirts or jeans. Still very stylish! Mint Condition.

History: This designer has been around for over 20 years. I know this, because I have been wearing his clothes since its conception. The company was founded in 1981 and is a family run business. Alberto Makali, styles are flattering to the female form, vibrant, rich in color and artistic. Some of his clients to name a few include, Vanna White, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Brooke Mueller and Nicollette Sheridan. So be on the look out for garments made by him. His garments range from couture to classic casuals.
