Major General Don C. Morrow is The Adjutant General of Arkansas, Camp Joseph T. Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas. As the adjutant general, he serves as a member of the governor's cabinet and commander of the Military Department of Arkansas. He is responsible for all military administration transactions between the United States and the State to include personnel, finance, and logistics. He is responsible for training of personnel to accomplish both the state and federal missions of the National Guard and performs all other duties pertaining to his office as prescribed by law.
The General began his military career on January 26, 1963, as a private in the 217th Engineer Battalion, Arkansas Army National Guard. On July 15, 1965, he was commissioned a second lieutenant upon graduation from the Arkansas Military Academy, Arkansas Army National Guard. Don Morrow was a shortstop decades ahead of his time. The 1947 Central High graduate was a tall, lean, athletic ballplayer who amazed scouts with a rare combination of power, speed and outstanding fielding ability. Just two years after graduation, Morrow signed a contract to play professionally in the Detroit Tigers organization. He and his father, A.C. Morrow, drove to Detroit to make it official in January, 1949 and it would be the beginning of a promising minor league career. At the time, Morrow was a student at Michigan State University and played both JV baseball and basketball. After making the hike to Detroit to sign, Morrow, an only child, was driven back to East Lansing by his proud parents the next day. Good fortune was followed by tragedy as his mother and father were involved in a head-on collision on their return home. Morrow’s father wouldn’t survive the accident and his mother was badly injured, though she eventually recovered fully.

Canadian politician
Donald Hugo Morrow (December 19, 1908 – March 29, 1995) was a politician in Ontario, Canada of Scottish descent. He served as a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. He represented the ridings of Carleton from 1948 to 1955 and Ottawa West from 1955 to 1977. From 1963 to 1967 he was Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
Background
Morrow was born in Winchester Springs, Ontario and was educated at local schools and at Queen's University. From 1929 to 1954, he was a teacher and later principal with the Ottawa School Board. Morrow served with the Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. In 1978, he was named to the Social Assistance Review Board.[1]
He died in Ottawa at the age of 86.[2][3]

Morrow ran in the 1948 provincial election in the Ottawa area riding of Carleton as the Progressive Conservative candidate. He defeated J. Chnonhouse by 5, 874 votes.[4] He was re-elected in 1951 and again in 1955 in
