Cheryl ‘Niecy’ Patterson was a down to earth, fun and outgoing person with a genuine heart who was always there for others. She loved to laugh, enjoyed life and enjoyed the simple things life had to offer. She had a deep faith in God and her ray of sunshine everyday was her only grandchild, Chloe. Niecy died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at home. She was 55 years old. 

Cheryl Denise Patterson was born in Boston on October 21, 1961 a daughter of Linda Mae (Patterson) Arnold. She graduated from Holy Family New Bedford High School and lived most of her life in Boston before moving to Waltham thirteen years ago. She worked in construction for Metro Corp. of Braintree before becoming a private caretaker.

She leaves her son, Thomas R. Stevenson of Boston, her mother Linda Mae Arnold of Boston, her granddaughter, Chloe J. Doung and her siblings, Linda A. Patterson, Rodney C. Arnold, Spencer Arnold and his wife, Felisha and Dennis P. Arnold, all of Dorchester and the late Carl Jason Howard; also survived by many nieces & nephews.

NAOMI PATTERSON, daughter of the late Clero and Arie Jackson, was born on June 8, 1937 in, Chesterfield SC. She was called home to glory on August 8, 2015.

Naomi spent her early years growing up in the south before moving with her parents and siblings to New York City. She was one of 12 children and loved her sisters and brothers dearly. Everyone that knew the Jackson girls would always speak of how beautiful they all were. She was educated in the south and later continued her education in the field of nursing.

After committing her love and pledging their union, Naomi married Charlie Patterson Jr. and they together relocated their family to Baltimore, MD. Naomi spent more than 13 years working as a nurse for Sinai Hospital 11pm-7am shift. She had a true passion and love that she demonstrated while caring for 'her' patients as she would affectionately call them.
