SEETIES Jazzberry Blue is a self taught, travelling artist, currently based in Toronto (Canada). Here we show you some of his city maps!

“This series of city streets are my newest works and some of my favorite pieces. As an artist I am always looking to the world around me for new compositions and patterns, as a traveler maps have always been a big part of my journey. Without names, a map becomes an abstract fingerprint and the viewer gains orientation by recognizing and identifying the most unusual forms, curves and patterns. I may be the artist who puts these images onto paper, but I am only exposing the art that is already all around us.”

Toronto-based artist Jazzberry Blue created this series of abstract maps portraying the world's most famous cities: Los Angeles, London, Milan, and more. The self-taught traveling artist uses a combination of bold color palettes and geometric figures to give each map an abstract flare of its own.

From the organized city blocks of New York, to the chaotic streets of London, every print perfectly captures the essence each city. But be warned, you may not want to rely on these beauties to find your way around a new city, no matter how stunning they are. Scroll down to see the maps below, and tell us what you think in the comments.
