Gwen Renée Stefani Shelton (stə-FAH-nee; born October 3, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter and fashion designer. She is a member and lead vocalist of the band No Doubt, whose singles include "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak", from their 1995 breakthrough studio album Tragic Kingdom, as well as "Hey Baby" and "It's My Life" from later albums.

During the band's hiatus, Stefani embarked on a solo pop career in 2004 by releasing her debut studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Inspired by pop music from the 1980s, the album was a critical and commercial success.[9][10] It spawned six singles, including "What You Waiting For?", "Rich Girl", "Hollaback Girl", and "Cool". On September 14, 2002 Gwen married Gavin Rossdale, the singer of Bush. They have three sons together, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale (born on May 26, 2006), Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale (born on August 21, 2008), and Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale (February 28, 2014).[4]

On August 3, 2015, she filed for divorce from Rossdale, citing "irreconcilable differences" and their divorce was finalized on April 8, 2016.
